Mission<\/h1>\n

To create in implement programmes, structures and relationships with key stakeholders in our society that will move Barataria North Secondary School forward in a positive and successful manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Objectives of the PTA<\/h1>\n

  • To increase Parental involvement in the school.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To support parents, teachers and students to increase student success.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To collaborate with the school to improve services offered to students<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To foster an environment for parents to address and deal with issues or concerns in school.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To improve communication with parents on issues affecting the school.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To lend financial support to programs for students and parents development.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To foster positive relationships with the school\u2019s community.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To help improve the image of the school.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To create opportunities for Parent and Teacher Skills Training and Education.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • Become a member of the PTA and attend meetings regularly.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ensure that my child observes and adheres to all the school rules.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Communicate and work with the teachers to ensure success.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Spend time with my child by monitoring, disciplining and encouraging positive behaviours.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Encourage your child to be regular and punctual at school.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Seek help for problems which you may be encountering with your child.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Provide children with opportunities for spiritual and moral growth and development.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
